CAMEROON COFFEE, CONNECTED TO ORIGIN
Ayaba Coffee is rooted in Cameroon, where coffee has been part of my family’s heritage for generations. With family members involved in coffee farming, cooperatives and export.
Today, Nanga Ngwe from Cameroon, the Co-Founder of Ayaba Coffee represent these relationships in the UK, connecting roasters with carefully selected Cameroonian Arabica and Robusta.
We value traditional farming knowledge and responsible cultivation practices within the farming communities, while maintaining a focus on coffee quality and long-term supply.
Our focus is simple: clear origin, traceability, careful processing, quality and reliable supply giving roasters the information they need to evaluate the coffee before buying.
WHY CAMEROON?
Cameroon brings together highlands, mountains, forests and varied climates, with mineral-rich volcanic soils and diverse growing conditions that support both Arabica and Robusta production.
Differences in altitude, rainfall, temperature, varieties and farming practices create coffees with distinct origin characteristics and lot profiles.
For roasters, this means more than another green coffee supply. Cameroon offers an opportunity to source distinctive, traceable coffees, diversify your origin portfolio and give customers something they may not have tasted before.

FAQS
Can I get a sample before placing an order?
Yes. We encourage roasters to sample the coffee first. You can request a sample, roast it to suit your normal evaluation process, cup it and decide whether it fits your programme before discussing an order. The Sample is accompanied by the coffee profile(all basic infoormation)
What information do you provide with your coffee?
We aim to provide the information a roaster needs to properly evaluate a lot, including origin, variety, altitude, processing, harvest information and available physical or quality specifications.
What are your minimum order quantities?
Our minimum order depends on the requirements of the roaster. We are happy to discuss smaller trial quantities before moving towards larger or ongoing orders.
Can smaller roasters buy from you?
Yes. We understand that not every roaster is looking for a large volume straight away.
A sample or smaller trial order can be a good starting point, with quantities increasing as the coffee becomes part of your programme.
How fresh is your green coffee?
We prioritise recent harvests and plan procurement around expected requirements where possible.
Our aim is to avoid unnecessary storage time and move coffee through the supply chain in a way that protects its condition.
How do you manage defects?
We work with producer communities and cooperatives around harvesting, processing, drying and handling practices, followed by appropriate sorting and preparation of the coffee.
We don't promise that every bean will be completely defect-free. Instead, we focus on careful handling and low-defect lots that can be properly evaluated before purchase.
Do you supply coffee outside the UK?
Our main focus is currently the UK market, but we can discuss requirements from buyers in other markets depending on the order and logistics.
Can you supply larger volumes?
Yes. We support both smaller trial orders and larger programmes.
For larger requirements, we prefer to discuss the expected volume, specifications and delivery schedule in advance so procurement can be planned properly.
Can I speak to someone about sourcing?
Of course.
If you have a specific requirement or simply want to understand what we currently have available, get in touch. We'd rather have a conversation about what you actually need than send you a generic catalogue.
